The synthetic pitch in Whiston is now complete and looking fantastic — ready for the next phase of the development.
From the shock pad, to the carpet, to the line markings, every stage has been delivered with care, precision, and teamwork.

The next phase of our 6,400m² football pitch project in Whiston is now complete — with just one final roll of carpet left before the site turns completely green.
Once that’s down, we’ll move on to the exciting part — adding the line markings that will bring this pitch to life and get it ready for the next generation of players.

🌧️⚽ Whiston | 6,400m² Synthetic Football Pitch Installation 🌱
We’ve had a storm to contend with during the first two days on site but despite the weather throwing everything at us, our team has pulled it back in just one day to keep this project on track. 👊
We’re currently installing the shock pad, followed by 6,400m² of synthetic grass and full line markings for the academy’s new football pitch and we’re doing it all to the highest standard, on time, and within deadline.
Massive credit to our team who’ve been working flat-out across multiple sites recently. Their dedication means that when the next generation returns to school, they’ll be stepping onto a brand-new pitch built to perform and built to last.
Huge thanks as always to our brilliant partners (and good mates) over at @sportexgroup It never really feels like work when you’re surrounded by great people who support you — rain, sunshine, or storm. 👏

From shock pad installation to laying the surface and completing the infill, every step of this project has been delivered to the highest standard — and the end result speaks for itself.
The new surface not only performs brilliantly, but it sits beautifully within its surroundings and really enhances the look of the @afcb Performance Centre.
