Weโre incredibly proud that our Managing Director Lewis Nickson, was invited by @kingstrustinternational to be an Inspirational Speaker at the 2026 Enterprise Challenge Regional Final, held at the iconic Anfield Stadium in Liverpool.
The Enterprise Challenge is an incredible initiative that helps young people aged 11-16 develop valuable enterprise skills, including teamwork, communication, problem-solving, resilience, decision-making, and creative thinking. It gives participants the opportunity to build confidence, raise aspirations, and gain a greater understanding of the world of work.
The event brought together finalist teams from schools across Liverpool and Greater Manchester, who presented social enterprise ideas designed to benefit their schools and communities.
Lewis had the privilege of sharing his own business journey, reflecting on the experiences, challenges, and lessons that have shaped Poly UP`s growth. The aim was to provide young people with an insight into the world of business, encourage them to overcome challenges, and inspire them to believe in what they can achieve.
At Poly UP, we`re passionate about championing opportunities that help young people develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed. A huge thank you to the King`s Trust for the invitation and for the incredible work they do to empower young people across the UK.

A lot of attention goes to the finished pitch, but this is one of the most important stages of the installation process. The video shows the infill being applied to the surface, a critical step that helps transform the carpet from a newly installed surface into a pitch ready for play.
The infill works its way between the fibres to provide stability, support performance, improve durability and help the surface respond consistently underfoot. Once applied, the pitch undergoes multiple brushing cycles to ensure even distribution across the entire area.
